SEO Reporting Format

I am new in the SEO business but I have more than 3 years of seo experience. during my job I usually send report of our working and keywords positions to the boss as our report. now in the business my clients needs a proper reporting format.

anyone can help me about how I can send them report in a proper format which also motivate them to further work with me.

as I now sending just alexa rank, organic traffice according to google analytics, keywords position etc.

plz share with me...

      Not sure this is what you are looking for, but on WhatsMySerp.com you can...

      1) Print the last 30 day graph of SERP results per keyword. On the graph it shows the keyword, current, and best rank. Gives them a graphic representation of their rank changes over time so they can see what the trend is.
      2) Export the current rankings, with best rank, for all your keywords for a domain
      3) Export up to 60 days worth of results for all your keywords for a domain in a single spreadsheet and then do what you want to with the data.

    You have to ask what your client needs first (analytics? serps? website audit?)

    After getting those details then only you can produce your report. I suggest to stay away from Excel as it looks very unprofessional unless your clients want "hard" data.

    Standard reporting format is

    INTRO / COVER PAGE (with your logo and your clients logo)

    SUMMARY PAGE (short 50-150 words on what the report is about and results)
