Reset your password and details will be sent to your email.

I also hope you didn't give the SEO company your email password otherwise you are screwed up.

Last resort, talk to your hosting company, they will use your payment details to reset your password if you can provide them an accurate one.

I can't reset my password. I don't have that option. The hosting provider is also the one who created the script. Im pretty sure the can get in but Im waiting for a response.

That's quite a generalization? Did you test every single company?

The fact of the matter is that there are scammers in every country including the US. There are some excellent SEO services in India that Tim Ferris personally recommends.

You have to dig deep and be diligent to find the diamonds...

OK, that's just nonsense. It can't punish countries that use dialects or variations of the language.

If anything this looks more unnatural. Why would somebody in the UK spell "Monetise" in the US dialect "Monetize"? Unless - Google uses US English as the global standard.

Contact your hosting support, tell them what has happened and ask if they can reset the access info for you - you have paid for the hosting, not the seo company so they should be able to assist you.

This is quite the story, but you do have to be very careful with whom you decide to entrust your site login details to, it is so easy for this to happen! I think, if you haven't done so already of course, you should contact them directly before pursuing anything else!

No, I paid in advance for the month. The work he did just seemed to spammy to continue his services, I wasn't comfortable with it as it seemed way to black hat. He literally got mad and changed my password just to be a dick.

Anyway, the creator of the script is going to look at the site tonight, which is also the hosting company. I don't think they will have a problem gaining access to the site.

Gotta be honest. If it was someone from here or someone selling a service here, you should out them so the same thing doesn't happen to someone else. If they have a WSO or Warriors for Hire offer, I would leave a detailed review. Nothing sinister. Just an honest story of what happened. Help others to not fall for the same crap.

Too often people get ripped off by WSO's and never say a thing about it. More honest reviews would help make that section a little better.

I haven't really seen that. I have seen when someone creates fake accounts for the purpose of trashing someone having reviews removed. I have seen someone who violates the rules have their reviews removed.

Now if there is another side to this story that we haven't heard about, that would be something different.

Don’t really appreciate you calling me a sucker. Maybe you have more common sense because this is more on your lines of expertise. SEO is not my expertise. I try to make the best decision when choosing an SEO company based on things I learn here. But s h i t still happens. I’ve been extremely successful on the Internet for many years. Been doing this for roughly 12 years, have had nothing but success at everything I’ve put effort into...well except for this site I guess.

Hmmm, didn't put any country down. In fact, I've had some great success with India, but its a hit or miss. Had some bad experiences with U.S. also.

I've used a couple India SEO companies that had some advanced link building techniques that work very well. And techniques that I've never seen discussed here.

Outsourcing to India or other 3rd world companies seems worth it if your hurting in the money area, but you are sacrificing quality and control. Most of those companies use whatever automated backlink system was popular years ago, and usually make outdated links. The sheer volume of clients they have is related to their low prices. They don't really care about your site, they see the money, run your details through a program and send you the results. Most of the time they really don't know that much about SEO, only that Running this program will make me money. Like people at McDonalds, they are making burgers and selling them, and they know how to put the burger together, but are they making quality food? Do they know how to run a business? Probably not.

Lately I saw a show on TV where people outsourced their whole life to countries like India, one of their workers had to find a date for one of the guys, world wide. He left all to her and she did an amazing job.

All of the Indians that got interviewed spoke remarkable good English and seemed like highly educated people, so of course there are quality services to find in India, they are just spare and probably won't work for $50-200/month.

Personally I have no need to outsource SEO work as I can do it all myself, I just have VA's to follow a detailed list of instructions, however in case I need help with web/software development then India would be the first country to approach.
