Hi guys,

According to ahrefs my blog gets approximately 10 backlinks a day without me doing anything. What's going on? I have a free version of aherfs and I cannot see the backlinks. Can any expert tell me what's going on and if it will bring me positive results in the future related to seo? :confused:

Thank you,
Zourkas

    They may be links from "who is", "about us" or "website statistisc" sites. They probably will not have much effect on your SEO.

    You don't need to build all links by your own all the time. If you have useful content on your site, then someone may be linking to it... As squadron has mentioned, statistic analyzing websites grab your blog and links from these sources are also counted, but they are commonly useless when it comes to deliver SEO value.

    Building backlinks and indexing are two separate events. Google will crawl backlinks instantly (based on DA and PR).

    Tools like Ahrefs, MajesticSEO etc won't always "discover" backlinks as fast as Google is indexing them. If you want the best indicator you need Webmaster tools.

    Probably one of two things ...

    (i) These are incidental backlinks from directories, research/information/statistical sites, and the like, i.e. sites not specifically relevant to yours, which won't affect your SEO worth talking about;

    (ii) You have such impressive content on your site that various webmasters in your niche are linking to your content because they want to be able to share it with their own readers, visitors and subscribers (the underlying basis of "article marketing" in a sense) - their context-relevance makes those absolutely tremendous backlinks in terms of their SEO/ranking potential, and if that's what's happening, your site will soon be shooting up the SERP's, typically for a variety of keywords of medium and medium-to-high competitiveness. But all even that can ever bring you, unfortunately, is search engine traffic (and we all know how "easy" it is to make a living from that! :p ).

    I think they can't, no - not without more information than you have at the moment. (Though in this part of the forum that doesn't normally stop people from trying to do so, because everyone's so helpful ).
