PR9! But Nothing On Others?

Hello all.
My 1st post here, so be gentle with me

I am quite new to this seo stuff.
I know a small amount about keywords, seo, linking etc.

But I came across a website, a web host company with a google PR of 9 on its homepage!
Web Hosting Services by SiteGround

But this website is confusing me,,,
virtually every page apart from its hompage has a page rank of 0!
How come?
I notice there is no robots text file,, why would they leave this out?
For example, a main page in their menu is "Web Hosting"
Web Hosting Crafted For A Superior Experience
It's indexed in google but has a PR of 0!
You'd expect that to be / have pagerank?

How do they manage this?
Somehow,, are they sending every bit of juice to their homepage?
I can't see hardly any no follow links either?

If some SEO can explain how this is done,, as I just don't get it.
Sure,, they have a huge amount of backlinks, and many 1,000's of websites pointing to their homepage, but I just don't get how every other page is a page rannk of zero!

It's not just this website, there are a few I've come across like this.
I don't see much in the pages source code either to say / suggest why?

Hope somebody can shed some light for me on this, I really want to understand how they can send the PR juice to the homepage only, an dno other page on their website.

  I see I have made a mistake in my original post,,
  the hxxp://www.siteground.com/web-hosting.htm
  is now showing as a PR8.........strange.
  
  That is with my searchstatus plugin.
  Originally this was showing as zero (maybe they read my post and tweaked their site!)
  
  But still funny how pages like,,
  hxxp://www.siteground.com/datacenters
  hxxp://www.siteground.com/support
  hxxp://www.siteground.com/people
  from their main menu are all zero,,,
  even
  hxxp://www.siteground.com/cloud-hosting.htm
  hxxp://www.siteground.com/dedicated-hosting.htm
  showing zero,, when you would think they would want these to have high PR,,
  why have a legal page,,
  hxxp://www.siteground.com/terms.htm page Rank 8??
  
  Any ideas how they can manipulate the PR so wildly Yukon?

  I notice high page rank pages have a line of code in the source code which is (for example)
  hxxp://www.siteground.com/web-hosting.htm (PR 8)
  Has this line of code in the source code;
  <link rel="canonical" href="hxxp://www.siteground.com/web-hosting.htm" />
  
  where as this link;
  hxxp://www.siteground.com/datacenters (PR 0)
  doesn't have that line of code...
  
  Is this a clue?
  Does this make a difference?
  Just something I noticed in the firefox browser,, as in it's address bar there is a circular 'C' that appears and disappears if the page
  "current location matches the specified canonical page"
  
  I hope somebody can explain,,,

  Jay theres nothing strange about it. Toolbar has not updated for 6 month. Any site that has done a redesign in that time may have new pages added that will show no PR

  That link has no clue. There are a number of sites that just predict later the same month and then change it each month. Thats been going on for months. Eventually they will be right but not because they know anything. just keep guessing each week and you will be right at some point.

  Check another domain: purevolume.com is PR=6. The rest of their pages lost page rank couple days ago. Now it`s n/a. They didnt redesign ther site...
