They are probably what G has determined as click fraud or other types of invalid clicks, so you won't be paid for them. Another possibility is that you're using link units and people are clicking on the link, but then not clicking on an ad when they are taken to the ad pages.

click fraud? How come? Google are telling me the visitors they are sending me are not up to their standards? Wow that's ridiculous.

Did you click it? It must be some specific reason as to why Google isn't pay up for the earnings.

click fraud means G thinks that someone clicked the ad that wasn't a legitimate visitor. They have alogs that can determine this from things such as behavior after the click. For example, if the ad was clicked by a script or if someone clicked on the ad and immediately clicked away from the landing page.

This is one of the big problems with Adsense. Google will always look after advertisers interests first, so suspicious clicks will be filtered out. Of course, Google gets to determine what are suspicious clicks.

That is why I think Adsense is a poor choice, for blogs and sites with low traffic.

Surprise surprise, Google's index doesn't index that article properly... Google! Whatever!

Of course they are going to look after the advertisers interests, this is the whole point of it! The advertisers don't pay money out just so that you can get paid, they want to have a return on their investment. If they are not getting that via click fraud then the whole system collapses and everybody loses. It isn't the biggest problem with Adsense, it is the best thing that they do!

Um, it might not necessarily be click fraud... you could also have turned on your "allowed sites" feature under "adsense setup" and not added the URL of one of your adsense sites. The same kind of thing would happen if you did that.

    1) It could be that Google deems those clicks to be 'classed' as invalid according to the algorithm they have in place.
    2) It could be, as Brawnydt, has pointed out - that you are using the allowed sites feature and haven't included that url or have done a typo when entering it.
    3) It could be a reporting error, which sometimes happens.
