Google Search Result Not Updating?

I have changed the title tags and description of one of my pages and for some reason it's not updating in Google.

I've fetched as Google and submitted to index via Webmaster Tools, it's been almost 2 weeks. What gives?

Try to ping the url using pingomatic or similar service and wait for some more time.

Anthmyers,

Even doing other things may not make it happen anytime soon. Even though information in your pages can be used in Google’s SERPs, they can choose not to use it. It may take a while before information in SERPs changes.

Normally it does not take that much time. I would suggest you to bookmark your site at stumbleupon and wait for a few more days. Hopefully it will get crawled again and your search result will become changed.

Once you updated your meta's your google result will move down well that is normal. I've done this and observed so many times. if your backlink is strong then you don't have to worry.. it will regain its rank.
