Hey Warriors,

I've been working on this new site for about a week now and I think it looks decent. It's a duplicate of the site thisiswhyimbroke.com, but with business gadgets. I'm new to the whole internet marketing thing, but I'm willing to really give it a try.

My problem is I don't know at what point to start advertising it. I don't feel like I have enough content to do any advertising campaigns, which costs money. I've been trying social media, like Pinterest, Facebook, and Google +, but nobody is repinning or following me. I know I could get more people to follow me if I set up an ad campaign, but, at the moment is it worth the money? Or should I just keep posting content and wait until I have hundreds of products before I even think about doing any campaigns?

Oh, I almost forgot. Here is the site business-gadgets.com

Also, let me know what you think about the website. I'm game to all criticism

I like the clean, crisp layout of the site but you're not offering me much in the way of convincing me why these products are worth buying. Personally, I'd up the text a bit on the product pages and try and add some original thoughts as to why the thing should be purchased over and above any competitor products or why it should be bought at all. Then, of course, you need to rank for all the product search terms which is a whole different kettle of fish. You might want to think about compartmentalising your products into categories as, at the moment, it's a bit of a mish-mash.

Having said all that - good effort in design and getting the layout pretty tight. I'm sure you'll get some other help here. Good luck with the site.

I think Google will eventually ban your Adsense account or block Adsense ads from being displayed on your pages. Your site is an Amazon doorway page that offers nothing that can't already be found directly on Amazon.

Your also making your Adsense ads on the Index page look like content (not a good idea with Adsense).

I like the site. I would say though you have way too many affiliate links on the homepage. At the very least I would make any visitors click into the site before you sent then off as this would help the reduce bounce rate.

I also agree with DMP70 about the amount of text on your reviews and definitely ad a bit more info. Your maybe gonna be fighting a losing battle with it being an affiliate site as these seem to be getting harder to rank unless you are a Brand.

I can see you have started with a bit of on-page SEO on your product pages. You may want to work on that a bit more - here is a report based on your 'USB Charging Hub' page based on the sites that currently rank for those keywords:

Also there are loads of errors in your code. Anyway hope it helps you.

The site: thisiswhyimbroke.com is doing the exact same thing as me with the ads, and they have been fine for 3 years. Plus, the button and the description within the box don't lead to the ad page, just the actual ad does.

Do you still think I'll be at risk for getting banned?

The site looks clean. Could you do some guest posting on business blogs to gain some exposure? Keep us updated on your progress.
