So I've created my first Facebook Ads Campaign today (I'm paying per click) and so far I haven't received any impressions of it, let alone clicks.

I'm targeting a group of 4,600,000 people, suggested price is $0,20-$0,48, and I have mine set to $0,40.

Any ideas about what might be the cause? Should I increase the amount?

Thank you in advance for tips!

Well, that's what I thought too...
I've chosen people interested in my niche (that's a specific MMORPG game), between 16-30 years old and I've picked about 10+ countries.
I don't really have any idead on how to narrow it down further (I actually wanted to go to US only, but the price was higher so I've added some).

Check the sales page on Quantcast and that will tell you the demographic. Narrow down age, sex, education and hobbies etc.

If it's marked active and your bid is within the suggested cpc than it should get going here shortly.

Probably by tomorrow you'll get some impressions for sure.

You need to laser target your audience. 4.6m is too broad.

I normally aim for less than 100K target audience.

you need to raise the bid for the keywords, may be someone is paying higher than you and filled all the spots, and yes target less audience.

It's because someone else is paying more. I Set it to automatic CPM, which'll get it running asap and is quite cost efficient. Check out Erny Peibst | Making Social Media Easy if you need any help with facebook ads for increasing your fanbase.

I actually spoke to a Facebook rep today, about an unrelated issues, and I mentioned how I started a bunch of ads that received no impressions for 48 hours. She told me that Facebook's ad platform is having global problems and many people are experiencing the same issues as OP and I over the last week. The suggested solution is to delete everything associated with your campaign and recreate it from scratch. Apparently the issue is now fixed, and that is how you'll get your impressions going again.

How do you contact a FB Rep directly? I only keep finding a general phone number.

Bunch of responses that makes no sense. I'm having the same problem, on day 2. I'm targeting USA, Female, 30+ so go figure. 58,000,000 audience. I'm bidding CPC, $0.40 cents per, daily budget $500 (10 campaigns). Total impressions, 300. Makes no dam sense...

There is a tiny little place to look to see if your ad is unapproved. Look hard for it.

There is more to take into account. Where your ad is placed. If your target audience is looking for your offer. It your ad seems like a scam. Or if another ad outshines yours.
