Hi everybody.

Like I wrote in the topic I have to spend almost 86k on ad on search engine. But there is one problem. This can not be a Google AdWords.

I'm looking for good alternative for Google AdWords and I need advice what search engine to choose. It has to be in PPC model.

My preferences are:
- lower CPC compared to GA
- textual ad / not display(graphic)
- good audience targeting

I will be very pleased if you write about personal experience with doing campaigns in such model like this.

What search engines or networks can you recommend?

    PPC
    1/google aswords
    2/clicksor
    3/yahoo advertisng solutions
    4/Digital Point
    5/Bidvertiser

I haven't tried last two brands. You have to check the convert rate of your keyword. Almost all advt networks are not really worth for small player.

Better focus a perfect seo plan. may be 6K or 8K a year.

Yes Kevin Maguire I saw media.net but in superficial way. Do you have some experience in this network?

Octavyo you have absolutely right about it. But my company has few people who doing SEO for us. We wanna use PPC to maximize ROI. We are looking for alternative source of traffic.

I will send you over a couple of bottles of Rohypnol. That should open some doors for you to use up any Viagra you have left.

My advice no matter how big or small your budget is is to focus on SEO first and try to add PPC to leverage things when you`ll making a profit

A good seo plan could deliver pretty much the same level of traffic as PPC but since it will be organic your profit would be significantly higher.
On top of that the CPC has been on the rise. I saw keywords for which you would pay anywhere from tens to $100 and more just for a click.

In my opinion that`s just too expensive.

If you really have this budget I supose you`re looking after big keywords to target. Identify those big terms and also try to target as much long tail related keywords as you can and build an authority site and rank it for all type of variations.

While you rank for the biggest terms you`ll rank for the long tail ones which will bring some serious traffic (depending on their searches, competition etc)

PPC in my opinion is a risky field where if you don`t know exactly what you`re doing you could waste a good amount of money with nothing to show for it (in terms of profits)

If you still want to go for PPC i would recommend you to hire a person which is experienced in managing and improving PPC campaigns on a large scale.

      I hope this helps you

      Good luck with your adventure

And any SEO worth his salt would probably advise to do the complete opposite to that.
A good PPC campaign, will put you in profit from day one. And also, if you have a good quality site it would attract natural backlinks from day 1 also. Improving your natural SERPs at the same time.

But in saying all that. Your guidance has the one major fault, in not having a clue about his site, what hes selling, his keywords, his market competition. You know nothing other than $84k budget.

But I'd guess by now, you have sent him a pm with an offer to help him spend that $$$

Kevin that was my opinion. If your is different it doesn`t mean mine is not good. And you said it -a good campaign can put him in profit. If you read my post you`ll see that i`ve stated that he should hire a PPc campaign manager which has a good experience in this. No matter how you put it you need to be very carefull with PPC.

And to answer to your latest phrase NO i didn`t sent him any messages regarding that. It`s not my style to do this and next time keep your toughts for yourself.

Syen why don`t you try PPV as well?

TrafficVance and LeadImpact seems very good and a good campaign should provide a good ROI

There are other ones as well but from what I`ve read everyone recommends those 2 networks.

An Alternative to Adwords can be Bing or MSN Ad Center

Try to learn more about those networks.

I would like to give you more info but i`m not a PPC expert. All i know about paid traffic is what i`ve seen and read on many sites.

    Try Facebook PPC.

But it doesn't matter how much money you have. (That's what a lot of noobs don't realize)

If you had $1,000 and you waste it on PPC ads with a negative ROI... you will do the same thing with a much larger budget.

Just realize that having that much money doesn't guarantee a successful ROI.
