Fast White Hat SEO Techniques to get High Search Engine PR Ranking?

As the title says, what are fast ways to get a high ranking in the search engine results from high PR/high traffic sites?

The Panda and Penguin update from google pretty much narrowed down and kicked out every single website that cheated using crappy quality content, backlinks, etc. So many webmasters and companies are intimidated by the update....not sure why. The only thing the update is doing is emphasizing on why it's so important to make sure your website should have high quality content for the user experience.

I know the typical methods that people use:

- Promote your website on facebook, tumblr, pinterest, and other social media networks
- Submit your site to relevant high PR social bookmarking do-follow sites (in my opinion, submitting your site to thousands of social bookmarking sites that have no relevancy to your website is a waste of time)
- Post your website on relevant high traffic forums to generate organic backlinks and traffic
- SEO optimize your website using strong keywords, tags, headers, URLs, etc.
- Email people who can do link exchanges with you

I focus more on quality than quantity. So my question is....is there a specific method that people use to get a high rank in their niche use WH methods in a short period of time? I've seen websites get a high ranking after many many months and years of pushing out high quality content and gaining organic traffic but I don't have months or years. I only have days.

@yestyle - define "advertising campaign". Free, organic traffic should be done without investing money into ads so how would you advertise a website organically and get a high 1st page google ranking in a very short period of time?

@ZiaUrRehman - no problem. I know most of the common techniques that most people use for SEO. But there is always a clever strategy SEO specialists use to get high rankings in short period of time and I always dig deeper to find out what the secrets are

There's no shortcut in whitehat SEO, it always take time to establish high rankings on search engines. Just keep doing what you've mentioned above and you'll get there.

To be honest... "white hat" SEO is mostly a facade...

The biggest "penalty" these days is for over-optimization... specifically for money keywords - the second probably being "low quality links" but probably not in the way you'd think.

Here's the one thing to remember before implementing any strategy:

Google will always be updating, no matter what - keep your ear to the ground and keep testing, testing, testing - oh, and find other ways to diversify your income

      Yea, very true

Haha, I'm actually shocked. There's a lot of replies in this thread about people appreciating my effort to post up useful SEO techniques. I didn't really intend to post up any sort of "guide" on SEO techniques. I posted up the techniques because usually people will read your thread and assume that you have not tried anything yet so they will reply with "you should try this our first if you haven't already" so I always post up things I already know and have tried already. So in terms of SEO techniques, I know most of the commonly used white-hat techniques and I am happy I was able to unintentionally help others haha

In the marketing and SEO world, there are always secrets and "deep" secrets that people know and will share exclusively on specific blog sites and you will never know what they are unless you research deeper or ask someone who has connections. I like to spend time digging deeper and learning secrets haha. There are times where SEO experts have the ability to make things happen a lot faster than 95% of other SEo experts out there but they will just act innocent and shrug their shoulders saying "yea, we just did it naturally". My response: *cough* yea right...
