Looking for an adsense friendly wordpress theme. I checked the sticked above thread but the most recent reply was in late 2012.

So, I would really like to read your suggestions. I would also like to know if this thing helps (= increases the CTR).

Thanks in advance for your replies...

Really all you need is good ad placement, 50/50 (roughly) mixture ad above the fold & content above the fold, plus a simple/clean web page.

Im using the "blusesense theme" on one of my blogs and seeing a big CTR. If you do decide to use the bluesense them, be prepared to write the best content on the web as its the only way you will pass a manual review from the Big G with a theme like that.

Im actually thinking of taking it down, and swapping it with a better looking theme though. Its one of those "benefit of the doubt" themes.

The free plug-in "Ad Injection" can help you with AdSense placement on any theme - SEONutshell makes a good point about the manual review... while it's rare, keeping your ads "balanced" and appearing more natural usually helps SEO longevity.

Lol, it's probably called Ad Injection because the developer is injecting his own Adsense pub# every 3rd unique traffic visit.

You folks are braver than I am.

I've been using Intellitheme lately with pretty good success.... I agree with Yukon though, good placement and a clean look are what really matters.

You can check Elegant Themes or Woo Themes. They are good. Though Woo Themes are a lot more costlier than most others, they are popular. I think single Elegant theme costs about $39. I am not sure. Check their website.
