OK here is a tip.

For example, lets say user comes to your opt in page and opt into your email list but does NOT buy your product. A week later they then click on one of your emails and then buy. How do you know what the orginal keyword that brought the sale is from?

If you have goals setup in analytics it will tell you this. Analytics will tell you what the orginal keyword is at this point.

If you want to override this and actually tell if the email made the sale and NOT the keyword you need to add the variable utm_nooverride=1. Here is the best article I have found to explain this.
