Google keyword tool getting removed?

I got a notice that the Google external keyword tool is not going to be available soon. Does anyone know if we will still be able to generate keyword lists from Google?

Andrew,

Yes, but now you will do it using the keyword planner. For SEOs, it accomplishes the same goal but the data is just organized in a different way.

Google Keyword Planner is now available. Its confusing till now. Have to learn. Sometimes the Google Keyword Tool can be accessible, but after a while you will be logged out of your account and again when you will log in, the new Google Keyword Planner appears.

There are 10x better alternatives to Google Keyword Tool and the new Keyword Planner. This article might proof useful to anyone who is still stuck using GKT and is thinking about using GKP...

It's all a matter of habit. The same data is available though differently structured, so in the end not a big deal. After a while you will forget the old thing
