SEO Sitelinks for a single page (parallax) website

Hi,

I recently did a website makeover for my old website, which now is a single page parallax website containing only internal links (those with hash # and so I can't really submit a sitemap).

I was wondering if there is anyway I could make my site eligible for sitelinks? I know Google hasn't really revealed it's algorithm of deciding sitelinks and that it's usually the first result that has sitelinks. But say, when I search for "mydomainname" on Google (it does appear in the first place), but also have sitelinks? Is it even possible for a single page site?

Thanks in advance,
Brrainstormerr

Yes, you can still get Google Sitelinks from same page jump links (#).

Use keyword anchor-text jump links (#) & <h2> tags both targeting the same keyword/s. Basically all your doing is jumping down the page with jump links to the matching <h2> tag. Repeat...

    Thanks!

Also, my site currently has hashed (#) navigation. Any idea what's the best way to setup the navigation for a single page website so it looks like regular URLs without these hashes.

Also, is there any way I could set it up so that Google sees individual content sections on the page as distinct pages like in regular websites (not sure this is possible though)?

    Thanks in advance!

It's a single page so really your only option is hash tags on the jump links.

Create a TOC (table of contents) at the top of your page & break the content down into small chunks of info (keywords). Use the TOC as jump links like Wikipedia does to jump down the web page.

Each TOC link in the example below jumps down the page to the matching <h2> tag.

You could use CSS to make the unordered HTML list look like regular site navigation (header links, sidebar links).

      Example:
      <title>Building Repair - domain.com</title>

      <h1>Building Repair</h1>

      <h2>Repairs</h2>
Nunc nibh lorem, congue a tempus sed, rhoncus in lacus. Morbi aliquet nisi nec purus vulputate sit amet congue risus faucibus. Nulla facilisi. Vivamus congue odio luctus tellus scelerisque luctus.

      <h2>Maintenance</h2>
Nulla egestas vulputate diam sed adipiscing. Integer convallis turpis at eros venenatis sit amet vulputate justo vehicula. Phasellus cursus congue nulla, vitae cursus metus aliquam id. Integer magna risus, auctor vel commodo ultricies, euismod vel orci. Sed tincidunt, mauris quis facilisis consectetur, ipsum velit porttitor libero, vitae tempus nunc velit ullamcorper risus.

      <h2>Quotes</h2>
Vivamus cursus dapibus ligula, eu dapibus lectus euismod quis. Cras purus augue, aliquam id congue sed, vestibulum ut felis. Suspendisse nulla turpis, feugiat nec facilisis non, condimentum vel ligula.

Jump links can also get you extra links in your SERP description (example below).
