Hi all.
I am going to move the site from one Shard Host Server to another Shard Host Server (for technical reasons) - still in the same Hosting company by on another Name Server (so change will be made in the name server at registrar end) and new server is on another physical Location/city (but still in the USA).

Does this affect Google ranking?
Any experience with that?

As long as there is no significant downtime, there should not be much of an impact.

As a provider, we've moved lost of accounts from server to server for various issues/requests. It should be seamless without issues.

You bet. When a migration is done, it's typically a "copy" so the data resides in both places. During the propagation period, this means there should be virtually no downtime - I would however, recommend from making any changes to the site(s) during that time period to be sure you're not accidentally modifying the old copy.

I am not afraid from that.
I am afraid that google ranking for some reason will drop since of this move to another server, another ip and another nameserver.
Even if there will not be any downtime.

It shouldn't. Despite what the "guru's" say, IP addresses have very little bearing on SEO.

Sites would have to be down for days to lose rank. It doesn't go away after 1 day, contrary to what folks here (mistakenly) believe. You should be fine.

    Who's the host?
