Hello Warriors,

I have just begun a new Adwords campaign for my AdSense site. My current budget is $15.00 per day. I am open to increasing this amount and would like to hear from anyone who has or had a campaign running in Adwords. I'd like to get a general idea of how much you started your beginning budget with and how you increased it as your clicks went up.

Looking forward to reading anyone's strategy with Adwords.

Thanks,
JR

Adwords campaign for my AdSense site
You sure you want to get traffic from Adwords to your adsense site ? Until you are getting the clicks free (Coupons) this is not going to be profitable in anyway.

Being an Adwords consultant I manage accounts starts from 5$ a day to 750$ a day.
At the end it not about how much your budget it, it about your target market, your audience , product line and so on..

Most of the time your ads performance depends on the keywords' quality score. First time when I started PPC campaign, I didn't know about this fact. But now I apply top to bottom approach.

I start with highest bidding and gradually decreases once the keywords start performing and achieve the quality score of 7 - 10. the higher the quality score, the lower the CPC. It become really tough to improve the performance once your campaign doesn't perform upto the expectation

You definately dont want to spend money on AdWords to send traffic to an AdSense site. You will be spending dollers and making pennies!

I suggest you learn how they both work.

Google suggests you use adwords to pump up your readers and/or
followers. It's a long term strategy, not making money from
adwords clicks. They suggest bloggers use it to do just that.
There are similar sites that have email lists, followers, members, etc.
that just want to pump up the user base. And that IS an effective
strategy. You will probably break even for adsense clicks, but
that's not where the money is from adwords and adsense.

Second scenario is also what they suggest. Like their own case
study on a plastic surgeon. He used adwords to get clients, but
what about those that click and don't call? Why not give them
an adsense ad to perhaps click on? The stratgey there, is that
even if a customer does not buy, you still have a chance at some
money via adwords. Stated another way, if you monetize your site
primarily with something else, why not slap adsense on it if you
      are using adwords?

If you are using $15 a day to try and get an adsense click, forget it.

Being an Adwords coach I aways set my campaign budgets high i order to get maximum impressions and data. However like the previously comments suggested, I wouldn't use it for an Adsense website.

Thanks to all who answered my post. Since it seems the consensus here is that Adwords is not the way to go in promoting an AdSense site, I am ending the campaign strategy I have started.

I have tried so many ways to generate traffic to my AdSense content site that focuses on care of the elderly; I don't know where to turn now. I have used FB, Twitter, forum posting, banner ads.

I guess generating traffic really is not as simple as I thought it would be.

      Thanks again to all!
