I have never really cared to read that part but it seems so.

I own 5 different adword accounts, the only downside is, you have to log out of your gmail to access another adword account.

  It works for me. I have my original YT that was set up before Google bought the. My business one was after the acquisition. It drives me crazy having to log in/out..try it!!

You would expect this. And I thought everyone would know that.

A local SEO company for example, would probably be doing a lot of hand holding for some customers entering SEO. So most of the time, the service would include set up and management of all types of accounts. It would be a bit stupid of Google not to know that already.
You could have a multi staffed agency, where teams or individuals are given a certain campaigns or keyword sets to work on specifically within a larger site. So having the ability to multi account to keep things streamlined would just be common sense.

I was aware you could ad people to your account as an admin. So you could effectively control clients accounts but it seems having multiple account as one person, was either a bit of a mystery or at one time wasn't allowed at all.

They do have a habit of not updating or pre-warning people about important stuff.

I never heard that there were any limitation for having multiple AdWords account but is true for AdSense account.

Yes, the accounts are tied to entities, and you can have one for each and every entitiy you own.

I was logging into multiple Google accounts yesterday, and boy, what a hassle it was.

I suggest to open a MCC account and also open a new Adwords account for every product that you start to promote. If the products are similar you can have them in one account, if not open another one and you are safe. This is how I am doing it.

This is a rule of business.

When a business has to take money, you have lots of ways of making payment:

Paypal
Credit Card
MoneyBookers
Wire Transfer
Western Union

When you need to take payment, there would be restriction like the restriction we get from Adsense.

Men, this make no sense for me.

From Adwords rules:

"Account suspension: In severe cases, an account may get suspended. If this happens, all ads in the suspended account will stop running, and we may no longer accept advertising from you. Any related accounts may also be permanently suspended. In really severe cases, advertisers may also be automatically suspended if attempting to open any new accounts. Learn more about suspended accounts."

Again from Adwords rules:

"AdWords My Client Center - Think of a My Client Center (MCC) account as an umbrella account with several AdWords accounts ("managed accounts") linked to it. With MCC, you can manage multiple AdWords accounts quickly and easily from a single location. Using an MCC account, you can (...).
Use a single login to access all managed accounts."

So, as a common user, can I or can I not create a new account? (I got banned 3 years ago)

The guy even said if you had 200 different businesses, you could have 200 separate accounts. The only rule is, that whatever email you have as your 'Google Account' (ie the email address you use for the adwords account/youtube etc) should be tied to only one adwords account. Provided you have a fresh email for each account, you're gold.

Just thought I'd share that with you guys. It's funny what you can find out with a simple phone call :-)

This is actually encouraged. Business are bought and sold all the time, and often have multiple operators that are separate to each business. The last thing you want to do is have a successful campaign that you have to set up again from scratch because you're handing off the management or selling the business, but don't want to touch your other campaigns.

BUT ... this is basically a per-business rule. It's still against their rules to have multiple Adwords accounts marketing the same business. Just that one person can have multiple Adwords accounts, if they are in fact dedicated to multiple separate business without campaigns crossing over between accounts.

Too bad their AdSense rules aren't the same.
