That's if your target market knows about it otherwise it doesn't make sense if you are not planning on monetizing it.

I was also seeing the x bone thing. Make sure you don't get spammed by the Viagra massive.

What products are you going after? Games? Peripherals? Spin-offs?

    Good luck with it!

You didn't think that one through very well, did you?

Even if you had not made such a boner, nobody refers to the Xbox as XB.

You need to know your market before you try playing in their sandbox.

I suppose some of you are just not up to the slang thang....

        xbox one = xbone

But, I do see the silliness here for that domain...
a clear choice of one NEEDING to use dashes
        xbone-reviews....snatch it up quick!

Pity the ones who have an xboner...

Well, the ranking would be according to your actual keywords other than acronym.. so you need to know competition and you have to work accordingly.

The domain name plays such a small role in ranking. It's not even an EMD

  • If you start pushing out reviews and getting content up ASAP you'll do great. The domain isn't as important as many people think, but you'll be able to brand this one easily enough.

The trick for this market, I think, will be to quickly get content so you can start ranking before thousands of other sites pop up.

For now, start publishing 'pre-reviews' on all the games and other products you can find.

Also, make a news section to discuss any rumors and other items about the new system.

Of course, have links to amazon affiliate pre-order pages so you can make some money.

Good luck, and don't let the doubters get you down.

I don't think that domain name will help you a lot, a better solution will be to start reviewing the product and leaving the links on some video game forums.
