Hello everyone,

I have been struggling to find niches and keywords. I have used amazon and and ebay to find niches but have come to the conclusion my lack of knowledge on keyword research is getting in the way of finding low comp niches and keywords. What I am asking is if anybody can share a method on how to find low compition niches and keywords. Preferably a free method.

Thanks in advanced

My advice would be not to build a site around a keyword because that sort of implies you're going to focus on SEO and that would probably be a mistake for any reasons including your lack of experience.

So if I shouldn't build a site around a keyword, I should build one around a specific product?

I know the tool, even there's "profitable&nonprofitable keywords" tab.
which not all keyword research software has it.
    Fortunately is not Free.
but if u want the easiest way to get niche.
    you can use !
"SKCA - STEALTH KEYWORD COMPETITION ANALYZER"
it simple to use and cheaper (for me) than such "keywords analizer website"
and it's not to expensive too for me .. it was WSO, but maybe the price would increase soon ...

    Wish that would help u

There are numerous tools but they are not free.

What you can do is find some niches on youtube like cracks-cheats- etc.etc. and then post some keywords on the search bar on Youtube or google and you will get a lot of longtail to check this way! (remember don't press enter and keywords will appear)

Search and go with the one you like!

You aren't going to make much money ranking for one long tail keyword. You need to build a site targeting a large number of longtails and some head terms.

No one is going to teach you how to do this stuff. There are literally thousands of eBooks and helpful threads/posts on this subject all over the internet.

Take some time and research/experiment and you will figure it out.

A good site to look up keywords is semrush.com to analyze a website you would like to be like in the future and how they rank, what their top keywords are, etc. Kind of backwards from where you are but it should lead to where you want to go.

Google adwords is a good option. You can get keyword ideas and their competition through them. This is especially for adwords but we may use them for SEO prospective.

Always free and the best is Google Keywords Tool, but there are many other SEO tools (paid ones) that can make the task easier and I saw many Tools on this forum as well, few ones that I know Ultimate Niche Finder, Uniches, Niche Cracker, Ant Rescuer, etc, but make sure you read the user reviews first before if you're going to grab one of those, else GKT will be enough.

Finding low competition keywords is really not that difficult. There are so many around that it's quite ridiculous, and I'm not even talking about long tails..

All you need is some practice using your brain, and of course some tools to help you out.

        Step 1: Go To ClickBank

        Step 2: Choose A Category

        Step 3: Sort by gravity

Step 4: Got to page 10ish (or wherever the gravity is getting below 20)

        Step 5: Choose a product/niche

Step 6: Go to Google keyword tool and enter a seed keyword.

Step 7: Find yourself some keywords with around 1000-5000 exact searches a month.

Tip: If the .com .net or .org domain is available for that keyword then it means there are not many SEO's operating in that niche and it should be ripe for the taking.

        Enjoy
