Have anyone some statistics about how many searches vs clicks you get with a specific phrase/keyword if you were on the first place on Google?

    465.32 Clicks per position 1
    234.65 Clicks per position 2

And reduce 26% downward on an upward scale of 7:1

No one knows. It will depend greatly. What is more important is conversion from your visitors.

I once built a site in the same niche that a brick and morter business I read about was doing well in. I got it to #1 for several months and had few clicks and never made a sale.

I have some semi-decent stats on this figure:

(remember, this is a rough estimate and will vary based on the niche/paid ads/factoring in "secure search" keywords that are excluded, etc - as a side note, the "secure search" figure is 289 and probably includes a bunch of these keyword searches - "you'll never get good data" is still the best answer, lol)

    - education, "online degrees" niche
    - #1 ranking for a 6600 keyword (local monthly searches)

According to Clicky, the site has received 131 visitors from this keyword in the last week - if we estimate that the keyword gets searched 220 times a day (based on 30 days), that's roughly 1540 searches a week.

Keep in mind this also doesn't take into account data centers that may be showing the site at a different position, fluctuations, etc - my best advice would be, don't try too hard estimating the amount of traffic you'll receive... pick a niche/keyword that is guaranteed to be WORTH IT once you rank, even if it takes longer - I think we've all been there, shooting a little too low and not being happy with the end-result...

IDK man, I hear of it too many times when people go after and hit 1st on a high volume keyword. Only to find the traffic sucks. And vice versa for small volume keywords.
I'm not sure how often the adwords data is updated if at all. Or if the software people use to track, also updates their data inline with Adwords. None of it adds up half the time. So to me, I take the info with a pinch of salt.

Lots of factors can effect the traffic that the #1 spot gets, such as the number of paid placements (for highly commerical terms about 50% of the traffic goes to paid placements), CTR of your title (if your title and meta description suck then your CTR will go down), if you have indented deeplinks for the site, etc.

Columbia University conducted an experiment on CTR for the first page of Google. I usually keep this in the back of my mind when trying to determine potential search volume for keywords:

The above experiment is somewhat dated and many people believe that the number #1 position delivers about 33% of search volume.

One of my keywords which is ranking number 1 has over 60% click thru rate, the keyword is searched 5,000 time monthly, so I do get some nice traffic from this small keyword.

Always think about your title, make sure it stands out from others and make sure its related completely to your keyword. It will make people want to click your site.

really depends on the keyword and your ctr on google
best thing you can do is optimize and make your title more attractive so you get more clicks as sometimes if you dont they will flock to the number 2
