SEO Tools Needed

Hi all,

I'm making competitor link analysis these days. During the process, I have got an idea that if there is such a tool which can analyze the competitor's traffic, either the whole site or some detailed page. If yes, can you guys recommend one for me? In addition, I want to find a tool which can indicate my site's newly added external links in last week or month. I'm now using MOZ OSE to analyze the competitors' tool and have not found such functions in the dashboard, can it realize the above needs?

    For competitor's traffic: SEMrush does a pretty good job

    If by "external links" you mean, inbound links/backlinks, ahrefs has that feature.

    Not many tools give an accurate estimate of competitor's traffic. One site you can use to find out what they are ranking for is semrush.com

    I just signed up for a new tool RankRecon.com amazing thing its one time fee and i think it looking promising afterall 30 days money back thus not a bad thing to try it out to see if works or not...

    I go with Majestic SEO. You can use to analyse your competitor’s site and determine where their links are coming from, etc. It has different features like its Backlink History Tool that helps in detecting the number of backlinks for a certain domain or subdomain. It also shows the websites linking to your site, the anchor text being used, and the page and domain authority of the linking page and site.

      No doubt that is too a good tool but i found issue with this is your ip get banned with Big G soon due to its a desktop software not web based..

    You can use Alexa.com, it's free. SEO Powersuite's SEO spyglass works well but it's expensive.
    You can also use SEO Quake, free, to compare the competitor sites in google result page.
