What makes it easy to rank faster on Bing than on Google and Yahoo?

I don't provide SEO services so I am not a hard-core SEOer.
I just noticed while using Rank Tracker (I'm not an affiliate), most of the keywords of my client's domains (aged ones) are ranked on Bing but not on Google and Yahoo. It leads me to think that it's easier to be ranked on Bing than on the other two giant search engines.

Have you noticed that, too?
If my theory is right, what makes it easy to rank faster on Bing than on Google and Yahoo?
#bing #easy #faster #google #makes #rank #yahoo

Interesting theory, I have never measured that so this gives much food for thought. Has anyone else experienced this?

I don't really know the answer, but I used to think that way as well.

Until, I started to build real links.

And then, I'm ranking in Google very well. And in Bing... Well, I'm not in the first 100 spots. Which makes me think that Bing/Yahoo tend to love spammy affiliate sites rather than website that actually provide value and have somewhat whitehat links.

In either way, Google beats Bing and that's the most important thing for me.

However, fully relying on search engine (bing or google) is a quite stupid thing to do.

I find the same. Personally I think a lot of it is down to on Page SEO. I don't think they scrutinise the backlinks as much as Google do. Keywords within Domain names still works well with Yahoo/Bing too.

Are you referring to Exact Match Domains (EMDs), Darren?
Oh yes, these aged domains I'm referring to are EMDs. Do you think that could have contributed to why they're still ranked on Bing even without touching the sites for a year or two?

Yes EMD's and domains with a few keywords within them. When you do searches on Yahoo/Bing you can find many of these ranking that would not rank on Google. Trouble I always found is that Yahoo/Bing traffic the conversion rates tend to be a lot lower than traffic from Google.

I see. Now I know a little information on what to say to my client before I do the keyword research and write the blog posts for his 25+ aged domains.

Just to add more description on my original post, my client has kept his aged domains for a year or two without touching them (without even posting at least one blog over the past months or a year) but they're still ranked on Bing.

I'm just surprised that some of his keywords are ranked on the top 10 spot of Bing but they're nowhere to be found on Google and on Yahoo.

    Hmmm...

From day one that search engines were created, webmasters have been talking about getting faster ranks even in competitive markets on Bing and Yahoo compared with Google. Naturally, theories like Sandbox and other ranking filters are mostly related to Google than the other two but of course as mentioned, the quality of traffic sent by Yahoo and Bing can be lower compared with Google's. Yahoo and Bing are believed to credit links much faster than Google, almost instantly as they find them listed online.

Most owners go for the big G as it is the most popular SE. It is easier because the competition isn't that big but the fruit isn't too.

Ranking on Bing and Yahoo have many advantages but Ranking on Yahoo and Bing is not easier, it takes almost the similar efforts that you use for google.
I believe that the whole yahoo and bing search system has somthing to do with google.

The thing is, there's literally no effort made on these 26 aged domains I'm checking. It's just kind of weird to me. But I'll be researching about it. I'll share my findings here "if" I find some reliable resources.

Sometimes I had noticed that even the top positions on bing/yahoo cannot attract as much traffic as a second page listing on Google.

I've had sites ranking top 3 page 1 on Bing purely because they are exact match domain names, but nowhere to be seen on G..
