Keyword research LTP

Bought LTP so far happy with the program however I have done some keyword research and I want to know what you guys think

keyword #1 - 22k searches

the top 10 websites in no particular order
amazon
walmart
target
bestbuy
etc

is this a go ahead or no go for you? the site age for all the domains are very old & nearly 6 domains out of 10 are nearly 90+ authority the rest in terms of PR & links look ok

The target for anyone at the end of the day is to be ranked #1 for the keyword

is it possible to say how hard it will be to outrank these websites to be on first page at least?

Based solely on the competitors I see in your list (I have no knowledge of your screenshot software) I'd go all guns blazing if I thought this could give me buying traffic. It's a typical top 5 layout of authority shopping sites that are probably barely targetting the keyword. An on-page optimised, tightly laid out site based around either your keywords or longtail variations thereof should start to see traffic relatively quickly with a campaign of good added content and links from high places

yes it is a buying keyword

this keyword i found seems to be very famous in USA, and doing ok in UK

however there is another keyword 5500 searches in USA similar competition in google.com as above however in UK only 50 searches so I am having a tough time deciding between them 2

#keyword one item price ranges from around $80 to $500

#keyword two item price ranges from $300- $2000 each but no searches in UK pretty much

Based from my experience when competing with those top e-commerce websites...

Short-term: Easy

Long-term: Hard (after every Google update or refresh, you hardly will be seeing any "micro niche sites" in the top 10 for e-commerce related products) + Google Shopping just makes everything 2x harder in a tangible product niche.
