Hi,

I've added a number of new pages to my website which google proceeded to index and cache. But now when I go back and check google's cache for those pages I get a 404 error showing in the cache. Does anyone know what could cause this?

Thanks,
Seamy

I noticed the same thing happening on one of my new pages that I had already viewed the Google cache, I was logged into a Google account, the cache kept showing a 404. I logged out of the Google account, cleared my browser history/cookies with CCleaner (free) & the Google cache started working again.

It's only for these pages. All other pages the cache works fine and besides I have tested in a couple of browsers/machines

This can be happen specially for new web pages, it means that google didn't properly input that data to their database and it may take few days to weeks and it'll be fixed in time.
