New links on old sites: Google Penalties

Hi guys,

New to the forum and new to making $$$ online.

I'm a writer for some high PR high traffic sites - i'm talking million + visitors a day.

I'm using my articles to snipe backlinks avec anchor texts, but its getting tricky sneaky this passed the editors.

I have full CMS access to my work so I can go back and reinsert links/anchor after the articles have been publishing.

So anyone know if that works? Is there a problem with adding backlinks to a page after its already been indexed? Will Google penalise this behaviour?

This is turning into a nice little money spinner for me, so any advice appreciated!

    No, why to penalize?

Some chinese dude who was buying links off me was telling me its too risky SEO wise to add links after the article has already been published/indexed

      It's not though is it?

        That's ridiculous.

On another note - what you're doing sounds shady at best, I'd watch it you'll end up losing your writing gigs. If I was employing you, I'd be pretty pissed.
