After examining the articles in article submission websites, i found that links placed in the author bio are default marked as "nofollow" links by famous websites like Articlesnatch, Amazines and few others that are of high page rank.

Just want to know that if "Nofollow" links are enabled for the links we placed, it will help us only to drive traffic right and also loosing backlinks from high page rank article submission websites. Your thoughts on it

Jason, that's the very reason why I don't apply this backlinking strategy to my business. I'd rather post every single high-quality and engaging blogs I write on my business' blog page than to any high-PRed article submission directory.

My goal is to drive traffic to my site and not to an article submission directory.
I understand that some people are taking advantage of the directory's high PR.
But I know, too, that they are praying that if anyone who reads their entry in that directory would also click that link back to their personal or business website.
