Tag Management for SEO

Question for you folks. I'm working on a project, and I was assigned to compile some data/articles around the benefits of tag management for SEO. Do YOU guys have any good sources that I can look at in regards to this? No threads on the forum, just sites/articles.

    I'm not sure what you mean by tag management? Is that CMS tags, like Wordpress Tags (similar to categories)?

      Basically I got this e-mail

      "
      1. Yo, I need you to start compiling some data/articles around the benefits of tag management for SEO. I need this by Wed morning.
      2. Also, put something together more general on the impacts of site performance with respects to SEO.

      Put this into a Word doc or Excel doc to review with me."

      This is in regards to the company I work for. You've seen my company Yukon I PM it to you.

        I don't remember the site URL, I know I've looked at the site in the past but I cleaned out my PM inbox a while back. I'm still not sure what they mean by tag management as far as SEO. Is that on-page links (CMS Tags), HTML tags, Analytics tracking tags?

    Nvm - I figured it out. He wanted to know more about Paid Tag managements and Google Tag management.

    The last thing I'm trying to figure out is his last question. "Also, put something together more general on the impacts of site performance with respects to SEO."

    The only thing I can think of is load speed. Unless you have articles can go in depth with other stuff perhaps crawl errors etc. etc.
