Hi,

i'm really procrastinating on how many Links ( and maybe articles) to place per web 2.0 site.

How many Links pointing to your moneysite untill the 2.0 domain runs out of juice?

i was thinking 3!
3 articles - 300 words each. 1 link per article
#backlinks #juice #moneysite #runs #till

Are you assuming they have any juice to begin with or are you building links to them?

they'll be the tier 1's yes. forgot to mention!

in both cases. for the people that will not buildbacklinks to their backlinks, alot of people don't actually.

there is no juice in both cases. Web 2.0s have no juice without building backlinks there.

Well Watkip we can all fantasize if we wish but when you set up many web 2.0s they are PR N/As. I have a blogger account that is three years old I have never done anything with and it still shows PR N/A. You can kid yourself all you wish but many if not most web 2.0s have no juice no matter how you state as a definite fact that they do.

Building links is the only way many will ever get any juice whatsoever.

Hi, i'm aware of this! In my case they 2.0's are my tier 1's.
I'm just trying to figure out, asking around how many 2.0's people run in their network these days. And how many links / words / articles they tend to use.

        -
Regarding non blasted/ backlinked 2.0's , i've read about numerous, even successful people that use these unlinked 2.0's to boost their serps with good results. I'm pretty skeptical about this too.

Because they are niche related they will boost your ranking but only for the least competitive of search phrases and no way will they put you on page one without some tier 2 link building.

Thing with this is, the ones that were unlinked to were probably quality pages that others linked to. So they were linked to, just not by themselves That is why it's important to have quality web20's that may attract visitors and links on their own.

I usually have 2-3 links per web 2.0... but as Mike mentions, there will be no juice flowing from those web 2.0 until you have tier 2 links pointing at your tier 1s.

Hi RizeAcademy! 2-3 links per web 2.0 , feels right to me!
Are you using 3 articles? Containing, how many words?

      Best regards!

      Hiho!

I'm curious how big your 2.0 / blog network is, and how many links per domain you got directing to your mini sites.

      best regards!

      Nice question

Ive been working with web 2.0 sites for a number of years now and it's very important that you look at a web 2.0/social site on a individual bases as each site has their own site structure and build.

Take tumblr for example - They provide sub domains for each blog.

If you take 10 tumblr blogs and examine them then you will find that about 50% or more of the blogs have different IP addresses assigned to them. so it's fair to say that links coming from different tumblr blogs are better then multiple links coming from the same 1 tumblr blog.

The same is true for many other social sites -

When you create a new blog/page/post on web 2.0 sites then there are 2 ways to get juice flowing to the pages -

      1) create backlinks to your posts/pages
      2) play an active role on the social site (this builds internal links to your posts/pages and gets the juice flowing - Most internal links tend to be dofollow)

playing an active role is also different for each social site -

Working with our above example of Tumblr then playing an active role would be doing things such as liking & re-bloging posts, you would also follow users.

Its also important to create a buzz around your content on popular social sites such as facebok likes - twitter retweets - pinterest re-pins - tumblr re-blogs etc

if you are looking to get your web 2.0 post/page ranking in the search engines then yes a 300 article will work well - but if you are looking to send traffic from the social site then 300 words might be a little too much, again you would need to look at the web 2.0 acocunt that you are working with.

      Hope this helps -
      thanks
