what internal link strategies are spam?

I've recently been thinking about placing all a sentance and an internal link at the bottom of every post i make. eg.

Did you Like that? Well how about you also check out our ultralight fishing post!

2 words will be embedded with an internal link. I was wondering if i had this exct sentance and the same link at the end of every post. Would that be seen as spam? Also, if i had 1 sebtance and a link on 10 posts, a different sentance and link on another 10 different posts and a different sentance and link on another 10 different posts. Would this also be seen as spammy? thanks

    When building internal links, think user. Place a link only if you believe it'll improve navigation and user experience. Don't do it for SEO reasons.

    Stop thinking like a machine or about SEO .

    There's many link strategies you can use that are effective for SEO but you can't just throw them around in irrelevant pages. Don't forget that Google understand relevancy as well.

    I would advice you to plan out your site first on paper(or graph) and see how you can most effectively link your pages together. Think first on how you can achieve perfect navigation for users visiting your site and it will most probably be efficient enough for SEO too.

    There's nothing wrong with what your describing, most article directories have a bio box at the bottom of every article. It's no big deal IMO.

    If you have something to sell/promote on your site, do it.

    thanks everyone, and to all curious, its a blog all about fishing but there 3 posts that talk about a type of fishing so its all relevant, its both to increase SEO and user navigation, i was just curious whether google would see it as spam considering there are a lot of blog posts i added a link too.

    If I were you, I would make my website good-looking for PEOPLE, NOT for Google! You don't need to build a very strong website to get a better ranking. If you have good title, H1 tag, alt and image, it's enough for SEO, then only good graphics, nice template for VISITORS!
