Hi Warriorforum, i'm a newbie here and is really interested to start earning money through adsense.

My questions is:

1. How hard it is to make money through adsense?
2. Is blog or website more suitable for adsense?
3. If I register for a new domain today, and start creating quality contents, how long should i wait before I apply for my adsense account?

It would be really helpful if anyone can try to guide me throughout the way.. Thanks

    1. It depends completely on your niche. Some niches are better than others - I have one website in the tech niche with 500 visitors a day, and it makes only a few dollars. I have another with around 200 visits a day and it makes more than $20 a day through Adsense.

    2. I tend to think static sites are better for Adsense, but blogs have the potential for more traffic so they can fine as well. Blogs are especially good for affiliate marketing, which makes up more than 75% of my income.

    3. I'd just wait until you have at least 10 pages worth of quality content. Google likes sites with content.

The above post is pretty much spot on. Your earning potential is affected by a whole variety of factors such as the niche and ad placement. You'll have to use tools like Google Adsense Sandbox and Spyfu to get an idea of the types of ads that show up for your website niche.

As for question 3, Google states in their Adsense participation requirement that you would need to have owned your website for at least six months. Until then, you can play around with other monetization methods like affiliate marketing and see which one works best for your website.

Nothing is going top stop you from applying but make sure your content (as well as your website design) really is top-quality before you do so.
