SEO Hosting - Hostgator Advice

I just need some clarification:

If I was to buy a domain name from a GoDaddy Auction.
And buy some SEO hostgator hosting.

Could I have two websites on my Hosting account but with two different IP addresses?

For example, if I bought a PR2 and PR3 domain from Auction, hosted it on my SEO hosting and pointed these websites back to my main website, would this count as two links from other websites? Or would all of these websites be seen as 'Mine'.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but that won't do anything for you, and probably not even against you. IP addresses have no bearing on SEO. Furthermore, most all "SEO hosts" have their IP space downgraded by Google for shenanigans.

Worse yet, Hostgator isn't a good host anymore

Concentrate first on making a good site. Do some SEO, yes, but this isn't it.

Can you provide even a sliver of evidence that most all SEO hosts presently operating have had their IP space downgraded by google?

My bet is crickets will sing forever before we get such evidence

Hostgater USE to be good. But since their migration (or should I say since their EIG buyout), a total incompetent disaster. My site has been down now for 20 hours and no sign of reviving it.

are you noticing any degraded quality in service after it was purchased by EIG?

Stay away from hostgator. Those gator will eat your site.

Too much issues in this year regarding server down mean my money site down and if my money site down, they will lost the old buyer.

If you have only two domains SEO hosting is not even necessary plus the better practice for over a year and a half is having your networks sites on entirely different boxes not just IPs. The way I do it is use hosting services all over the world.

    HostNine = A Small Orange = Hostgator = EIG = same company!
It's not migrated yet (old ASO infrastructure in use still), but I'd steer clear anyway.

It's had a lot of bad feedback since the EIG buyout. Several threads on it at WHT.

In this scenario, is there a need really to buy hosting?
Could you just not use free platforms like wordpress/ WebEden and upgrade to using the URL that you just bought from GoDaddy?

I agree with Mike Anthony. Most of the so-called SEO hosting packages don't provide any real benefits, one reason is that both websites will share the same network whois record. Just get two separate low budget hosting accounts.

    The word is, SEO Host.

What someone believes SEO to be worth. To successfully buy shenanigans, the buyer must be convinced the proposed premium is worth putting forth the extra money required to gain SEO.
