Contact your hosting provider. They can have backups for your site.

I use Backup Buddy. It's the best backup plugin available, but not cheap.

If you have only 1 site a backup plugin is a good way to go.

If you have many sites try InfiniteWP - Manage Multiple WordPress Sites. Small one time investment and works like magic.

I backup my site after 7,10 days.. Even there is a free plugin available for the wordpress, Which makes the backsup on the server itself.... I dont use that often as i am using a limit space, Its better to take the backup of the content and database.. It takes very less time but saves a lot of time for future(crash)prospective.,

Call your host. If you are on a shared hosting plan they will more than likely have a backup of your server files. I had something similar happen back in 2006. I believe I paid $50 for the backup. Just be aware that it is going to cost some money.

Nowadays I have a dedicated server so I end up paying $10 per month for bi-weekly backups.

Export the MySQL database to your offline PC, before the blog gets wiped out.

You can also FTP your WWW (root folder) file from your host to your offline PC with something free like FileZilla.

Like already said use either Wayback or Google cache (better do it fast) If you haven't already created a backup of your site.

Yea.... with that atitude I don't think you will be overly successful.

It sucks, I have dealt with it in the past but if your site was doing well, you are throwing money away by not re-building it.

If you are using Gator you will be charged a small fee to reinstall your site the way it was.

Tempered with my site when i first started out but thank God, Gator always automatically backup my files.

You also have the options of backing it up yourself and will be reapplied for free if it the backup was setup in the past..
