First PPC Adwords campaign

Hi guys,

I've been reading about google adwords and I really want to try and test waters and see if it works for my business.

I've seen now there's a keyword planner, and you can add keywords to an ad group.

In order for me to test what keywords work best... should I create ad groups separately or should I throw them all together?

is there a way to check how they all performed if I put them all together?

what's the initial budget I should aim.. I have no idea about my conversion rate, and I've read I could pick 10 buyer keywords related to my niche multiply them by 100 (amoutn of clicks) multiplied by CPC $ of each keyword... and that would be the "testing budget"... is this true? is there any other way to approach the testing phase?

sorry these questions come from a total beginner...

any help is appreciated!

regards!

You can have them all in one Adgroup, but you won't be able to optimise your campaigns well. I prefer to have 1-2 keywords per Adgroup, which gives me much more options and flexibility. Also with enhanced campaigns you can set your bids on adgroup level.
    Any questions, let me know!
