Google Webmaster Tools - Search Appearance

Hey folks, I noticed this feature on GWT called search appearance (structured data, data highlighter, etc). Have you guys used it? Thoughts? Pros? Cons?

I'm assigned to work with this feature and to work with the IT team for the company I work for, and I would like to hear your feedback so I can get a better understanding.

    Search appearance is a reorganization of some old and new fields in WMT that allow you to manage how your website appears in SERPs. You can see how users see your data and look at how the schema you are using is shaping up or if you need to be using schema. You can also see any HTML improvements that can be made as they relate to how a site appears in search.
