So I create a weekly article and i'm wondering how much sharing is too much.

For example, if I created a good 1,000 word article and posted it on my blog, my blogger and my WordPress is that too much already? I'm just not exactly sure what 'Duplicate Content' is classed as.

  • As long as the content is being 'shared' on sites which are related to your niche, the more the better.

Posting them on your blogger and wordpress sites is fine. See if you can get people to post your article on their site as well. This is known as either guest posting or article syndication, both of which will get you targeted traffic, which is what you want.

"Duplicate Content" like this isn't a bad thing at all and will get you lots of targeted traffic, and even some bumps for search engines.

Sharing is never too much. Why?
Because there lies thousands of social bookmarking sites, hundreds of social networks. On which a human can not post easily. Infact it is very hard to even share on the leading networks for most bloggers.

If you want to do this create an article on your site and then leave it for a few weeks before you do any linking or posting of this article. That way its indexed first on your site and not one you have posted too, the sites you post too are more likly to index the content faster than your site. Personally I would not do this even if spinning the article.

I NEVER use my onsite articles to produce articles on other sites, SPUN OR NOT.

We have the same personal take on this case, Webby.
I don't know if reposting the exact same content from my main website to the 'other' sites will yield better results. But with that strategy I have right now, man, I have no rooms for complaints.
