I have a website which have about 150 unique posts of 350+ words each, with download links (no affiliate links), solid SEO on it (80-90 pr1-pr3 blogposts which all of them are on homepage) and it is in dance (as per my check). It have about one month and 20 days and 80% of my keywords are around 150-170 in Google. The other 20% are in top 80 of Google. This is a crazy dance and i don't know what to do to stop it. There can't be any penalization on the site since i have good off-page and on-page.

You can't stop it! This is a normal effect, but it's normally much faster... Just build HIGH QUALITY RELATED backlinks (get a few related blogs, ask their webmaster to submit your articles and use your MAIN and your secondary keywords) -> Don't use your main keyword more than 3 times per WEEK!

I used for blogposts many of my internals pages, not the homepage. I varied the anchor texts to avoid over optimization.

Another good tip is try to keep back linking constant. Its better to build links every day rather than send a few at a time here and there.

I think there is no way that you can stop the Google Dance. Just try to build more relevant and high quality links to your website or blog, and things may get back to normal on your part.

If your ranks are dancing after some link building done it is not good sign and it is a sign that something google dislike so at this stage after recent updates you shall create minimum backlinks to your main website to have low chances of dance and can work with tiered link building on other hand to strenghten your tier1 links

Or if you have not done any link building then there is nothing to worry google may calculate where to rank soon your web pages

Google dance is perfectly normal and triggered due to presence of new link built backlinks to your site, just continue with quality links and it will stabilize! All the best!

You can't stop Google Dance but you can do things that will not affect your site with it such as building quality content and links.

If I am dancing HEAVILY and there seems to be no end in site, i'll just refocus on on-page factors and adding new content. I figure that especially when your site is bouncing into the top 10, Google must be testing CTR and bounce rates to see how valuable your site is to users.

A bunch of low quality links can sometimes cause a page to dance in the SERPs.

    Content.

Content does all sorts of wonderful things for your site.

If this is a site you care about and are obeying what are quickly becoming the new rules and favorism shown by Google then you will want to make sure that you are producing just about as much of it as you can and as quickly as you can.

I base that on this research: Matt Cutts Fumbles Tweet – Penguin 2.0 Leaked

Now what I'm going to tell you next is very important.

The methods of content generation I used were horrible and only served to play games with a search engine spider... that's all. It's a game that pays me to play it. But it's a game!

If you want to run a business that you will be able to reasonably depend on then your content should be higher quality material. It would be pretty tough for anyone to write 30 articles a day for very long - and make them any good... at all.

So don't. But write as much as you can while maintaining control over the inherent value of the content you are producing.

Might I suggest, answering questions: http://www.warriorforum.com/adsense-...uake-tips.html

It will not only enable you to produce helpful content, but you will be able to get more of it out the door and on the street in less time.

Will it be well thought out research?

    Of course not.

Will that offend some pure whitehats that feel the internet should be like a research magazine or newspaper? Yeah, probably.

    But that's my advice.

I've been working on a high traffic site for a client and it's been dancing for weeks now, significantly up and down. But finally it's settled down on page 1. Don't worry too much as long as you maintain good link velocity, relevancy and high quality consistency with content and links. Good luck!

You can't stop Google Dancing and yeah it has positive effects to your site. But once your site started dance you might want to slow down to your SEO campaign to avoid over-optimization otherwise you'll get busted for it.
