Any Ideas Why This Site isn't Ranking?

Hi,

A friend of mine has asked me to have a look at his site to see if I can spot why it doesn't seem to rank well at all.

The site is OutQuote.co.za - Helping You Find Trusted Tradesmen

It ranks number 1 on google.co.za for outquote but only one of the subpages ranks in the top 10 (carpet fitters).
Its got some decent PR4 and 3 links coming from .co.za sites and the competition doesn't look to hard to at least get into the top 20 so I'm puzzled as to why it doesn't rank for the subpages.

Am I missing something here?

    Lack of contents on your pages..On page optimization is not there..concentrate on these factors..

    Thanks, that's the only thing that the site looks to lack is content on the pages. For a site like that, what do people think a minimum amount of content/words should be?

    Try to use the Google keyword search and find keywords which have some search volume - find 3 or 4 keywords per page for which you could get a minimum of 400 searches should take you up in ranking.

    Replace some of your titles in <h1> tags with words that have search volume if you can find them.
