Recovering From the Depths of Google - My Story

Hey guys,
Thought this may be an interesting topic here on WF, as I know it's something a lot of people struggle with.
Long story short, I purchased a premium domain a while back, and subsequently found it not ranking anywhere or for anything. This thing cost me several thousands dollars, so I was pretty pissed and ready to give up.
However, within the last week or so it's come back after a lengthy recovery process which included a lot of waiting, guest posting, trying to de-optimize and new themes.
