SEO for a specific country

Hi,

I want to do SEO for my website which is a .ro domain (a Romanian site).

My friend will write unique (quality) content on: domain.ro/blog - is this will help my main site? domain.ro ?

I just want to know what backlinking tactics should I do. I was thinking of doing the following:
  • Web 2.0
  • Social Bookmarking
  • Commenting on blogs from my niche
  • Article directory (from my country)
  • PDF submission on the big sites
  • Wiki sites ? - I don't know if there are romaina sites
  • Video Submission - only on big sites

I will do the on-page optimization, I know how to do it. Content will be all unique, written by a Romanian friend. I heard a lot of good stories about unique content (relevant content). It will help the site to rank.

Give me your opinions please.

    .ro will help with your ranking in google.ro

    Do all your SEO in google.ro if thats what you are targeting only .

    Focus on relevant high quality backlinks and use the other methods you mentioned for diversity.

    Go for it. I did it for my language (Croatian) for keyword that have more than 6000 global monthly search and around 100.000 competitive web pages. In about 1 and a half month my page come to first page of Google for that keyword and stack on 3rd place. After some changes comes to first place and remain there till now.
    So don't think too much, just start!

      Try to obtain a few contextual High PR backlinks(PR4-PR5) and you should be fine. Maybe buy a few expired domains that hold PR or if thats too much work for you just rent a few links from a link seller here in the warrior forum itself. that'll get you up much faster than everything you've intended to do.

      Dont ever consider the number of competing web pages as your competition. First page of google is your competition, forget the rest!!

    I guess some people never read the post before commenting. He's not asking your service he's asking an opinion. The blog would help your site appear fresh before search engines so blogging is good idea.
    The backlinking strategy is good but it depends on the niche you are in,if it's very competitive then it would take a lot of time, otherwise this strategy sounds good. Niche relevant blog commenting is good but niche relevant guest blogging would be even better.

    It is a good idea to publish good quality content. and you thinking about activity like web2.0, Social Bookmarking, Blog commenting , its a good strategy for a good ranking. but do it uniquely on each site.

    Relevance and Authority sites...

    Getting links from sites like web 2.0, article directories, social bookmarks, comment is most likely to get you ranked on Google.com.

    Find links from the country of target and link to it..

      I think search engine mostly like authority back-links and if you get High page ranks more authority page backlinks, it will be much beneficial for your blog.

    Also post your business on Local business listing websites. Contact local website webmaster to post your article on their website and get backlinks.
