Does buying YouTube views violate their adsense TOS

OK, I have seen people selling views on Youtube here and on other forums. I get it. A person like myself may want to purchase views to try to bolster their Partner application. I understand that you want to make sure they are real people and not bots (of course how do you know a seller has real people or a bot). But, the elephant in the room is whether this is against the TOS.

Vagex seems different to me because people are actually watching the video, but I just signed up for the trial and views trickle 1-3 a day. I am not sure I see value in buying a subscription at that rate.

I obviously do not want any of my YouTube channels banned. So, what's the truth.

Read adsense TOS ................If you buy view ,it would not harm your adsense until unnatural clicks

Don't do it, just got 2 of my channels banned because of fiverr gig I bought, and I checked hundreds of reviews before I ordered. It's not worth it, eventually YT catches you, or your Competitor complains and gets your video reported which makes YT start to monitor your channel. Better to post a few links on FB groups, LinkedIn or Twitter and drive Natural traffic to your videos.

    Good Luck,

Yeah I strongly advise to not use bought youtube views with your adsense account immediately.

Latest on payday when they thoroughly look into your traffic sources they will most likely find out and deny you any payment unfortunately.

However, to give your youtube channel an initial boost to drive first traffic to your channel it can help really well. I'd just wait a little time until you sign up for your adsense account until enough natural views have been coming in.

        Cheers,

It is against the TOS of youtube, therefore it is a violation of
          adsense.

There are legit services that will promote your video for
          money.

Promoting a video is not the same as the services offered
by people who sell you thousands of views and likes for
          pennies on the hundred.

You can pay to promote your video on youtube.

There's a huge difference between buying views & buying niche traffic (real people).

When you buy YT views, it's usually either porn traffic being redirected to the YT video or a button pusher running software to generate YT video views.

Nothing wrong with buying legit niche traffic.

Buying views will matter until they are not safe. Like some seller provide views using bot and proxy. At that time it may harm the adsense might result BAN.

But quality views won't harm your account. It is best to buy views to get more expose. But while you are getting views from a unknown seller it is recommended that you should stop adsense for that particular video.

YT is carrying out major updates like Google.

Just few days ago my client bought YouTube view package which got his video deleted and re-uploaded by YouTube for violation.

If you buy this fake package then the answer is a big YES you are violating their TOS.

How about finding out what makes youtube has happy and simply doing it. Spam is like a disease the easier you try to make your work the less likely your website will ever make it anywhere. How about trying to make a video that is so great that everyone wants to tell others about it! Put your time into the hard work that leads to success.

I wouldn't prefer these kinda techniques while you are using google services, they are too strict on auto likes , clicks and views. Do not do it !

I bought some views from ytview recently and went a little overboard with it. I surely purchased too many for what I was trying to accomplish, but also that provider just blasts them out as quickly as possible. The video recently got taken down by Youtube. I don't mind because it had already served it's purpose.

But there are a few lessons to be had here:
-Start out small and add more views as needed.
-Make sure your provider drip feeds the views so that they don't come all at once. I do a lot of launch jacking campaigns. If the competing videos all have a few hundred or thousand views and you have 10,000...you instantly look suspect.
-Also..find a gig that also incorporates likes, subscribers, and comments as well. It just looks more natural to have those things accompany your views. Not to mention the social proof to the traffic that finds your videos.

Oh and one more thing. I don't use my videos to get Adsense clicks, but to sell products. If I was using videos to make Adsense money, I would tread even more carefully. Those views may help attract more organic traffic, but I'd want to be very sure they weren't prompting any unnatural clicks.

Why is this thread so long? Buying YT views is against the TOS of
YT. Any violation of any google product is a violation of any google
      product's TOS, including adsense.

Now there are ways of advertising YT videos, which is fine.

Paying some idiot on fiverr for YT views: guaranteed violation.

From everything I've read, it does. However, I bet you could set up a system yourself with tons and I mean tons of proxies to add a few views.

Bottom line, it's not worth it.

      Hey

I am not an expert on Youtube terms and conditions. But being a video producer myself I thought contributing my thoughts here would be nice.

Why should buying Youtube views be a problem? Isn't that any product owner wants? Promotion that enables people to view their product and potentially buy it...at the end of the day an Youtube video is just like any other product you own. And you have got every right to promote it using every ethical method possible.

Now coming back to the question of buying fake views to bloat the numbers and game the system, well lets step back a bit and think about it. Do you really think it's adding value to the overall ecosystem. I guess it's not and apparently that's where Youtube or any platform would have a problem.

Don't be a fool & buy fake views.

If you want real YT views, get your video embedded on real sites that have same niche traffic.

Assumes you have a video someone would actually watch.

The OP asked if buying views violates YT TOS.

    The short answer is yes.

But the real question in my mind "is it worth it to buy YT views?"

And my answer for that is if you know what you're doing, YES it is 1000% worth it.

Over the last couple years I've spent between $1500-$2000 just on YT views, likes, subs, comments, etc etc.

I have about 564 videos on YT. Only 3 have been deleted and those 3 were deleted all within the last month.

With that said, here are some benefits I've experienced:

    1) About 500 of those videos are local geotargeted YT videos. Those videos have made me well over 6 figures in the last 2 years.

    2) I have about 64 Clickbank videos. They make me about $250-$300/week. Between all my YT videos, I make around $2,000-$3,000 a month in local affiliate commissions and Clickbank commissions.... all thanks to paid views.

    3) One of those 564 videos got the attention of CBS early last year. CBS found one of my videos, and my brothers company went on TV. That video was promoted with fake views. When that video aired, we made lots of money on top of what we were already making.

    4) With that said, if you're going to buy YT views you have to know what you're doing. ESPECIALLY as of late since YT is cracking down really hard. Certain well known view suppliers aren't working anymore. They are scrambling to find a fix. And in the meantime I've found new suppliers who work fine (who I will keep to myself )

    5) After my 3 videos got deleted people said "use aged accounts and test new suppliers until you find someone who works". So if videos are getting deleted, buy aged accounts and find a new view supplier. But also be mindful to the actual content you're posting (copyright infringements are a guaranteed take down).

Thats all as far as advice goes.

WF is a great advocate for whitehat marketing. And I respect it for that. But it puts many members far out of touch with reality. Many of them will argue against things they've never even tried. It becomes an arguement of whitehat vs blackhat rather than benefits vs consequences.

And in the end, you will find that very few people on here are doing "pure" whitehat marketing. Many people are using private networks to rank sites. Which is ok. But godforbid you buy views for a YT video... suddenly... you can't do that type of stuff. Godforbid you go on YT and notice that most of the highranking videos have purchased retention views.

So if your plan is to outrank those videos using whitehat techniques, all I can say is "good luck".

YT always goes through sweeps. And right now they're doing an aggressive sweep on new accounts. But as time passes, more and more vendors will get back on top of their game. More marketers will find ways around their algo. Then YTs broom will break, they'll be SOL till they can find a bigger broom to fix the problem. Over and over and over.

My comment above is based on +12 million legit views on a single YT channel.

If a person saturates a single niche, it's almost impossible to not get a boat load of legit views, YT traffic is that massive.

yes violation of TOS for Fake view .

but if people actually watching the video then that's fine,
but 1st Do Branding of your channel rank some of your videos at google . after that only link your adsense account . so that time you have natural traffic on video ,
but be care full from how you are buying your Views and etc..

    Good luck

Buying YT views may be risky so I would not personally try it. I would rather optimize my YT channel then promote my channel to social media platforms. That may take some time but when done right, I know I can get into the right market without cheating.
