Anyone ever had this message:

"Your ad wasn't approved because the destination URL is not viewable or functioning properly. Ads may not link to a proprietary file type (ex: pdf, .doc) or to a site that initiates an automatic download or traps a user's browser through a pop-up of any kind"

I wasn't linking to a a pdf, automatic download or a pop up??

Any ideas?

Cheers, Phil

Just make sure the link is okay, if it's not the link then I don't know, maybe use another link that redirects??

  • Ragstworiches,

Aside from a glitch in Facebook’s system, are you sure there is no third-party URLs on the website or other code that could be causing this? For example sometimes Wordpress themes will have URLs in them that cause robot.txt errors. Experiment with other pages of your site. If those work, perhaps its an issue with Facebook?

    Hi,

Yes I tried a completely different url and they said the same thing, so not sure what the issue is, trying again today.
