About to give up on reciprocal linking!

Linking is probably the single most discussed and most confusing topic in all of SEO. It surely is for me!

I have a large links page with a lot of junk that looks more like a directory than a resources page that might be of interest to my visitors.

In today's SEO climate I really doubt the value of a conventional links page. I'm thinking of either dumping the whole thing altogether or cutting it to just a few resources that will be of genuine interest to my visitors.

Anything to be aware of or to look out for if I go ahead with this?

    Just be aware that if it was a reciprocal arrangement that you might lose the links back to your site from the sites that you dump from your page.
