So many people offering SEO services on this forum...can someone please recommend someone good?

Hi,

I know this has been asked before on this forum, however the answers rapidly turn into people either overtly of subversively plugging their own service, or other people just saying "no one is going to tell you whos good, without plugging their own service"....however what I am asking is...

Can someone give me the name(s), or links of some of the SEO suppliers on here, that provide a truly respectable, white hat, and effective service, which they can vouch for through their own personal experience with them?...

There are so many fly by night people on there offering services, and it is so hard to go through page after page sifting for someone that seems reputable, and won't leave your site in a worse position after the service.

    There are a few ...however it's been a little while since I was here.

    I would vouch for Mike Friedman, Yukon, Mike Anthony, or John Romaine (shameless plug).

    I don't know how much the other guys charge, but you can see my fees by clicking on my name.

    I'm not cheap and for good reason. If you're serious about doing business on the web, I'd be happy to help you.

    Problem is I no longer know what this board means anymore by whitehat. Truthfully most SEOs would consider almost everybody on the above list (that actually offers SEO) as grey hat (a great many Google lovers consider networks as grey hat.) . Real white hat I do, but think $1,000 or more a month, because real white hat is TIME CONSUMING because it involves no self placed links and a lot of negotiating and relationship building..

    Anyway as far as I know you can eliminate both Mike's from your list (unless Mikef has slashed his prices) if you are looking at the kind of prices you see at WF (below $20O a month). Plus I do not touch affiliate marketing or made for adsense sites at all

    I learned everything from Mike Anthony, Mike Friedman, Yukon and Paulgl.

    I thanked all of them in the past, and I still thank them. It got me where I am today. I stepped into corporate level SEO, but I'm still doing SEO on my own but haven't had enough time devoting on my business. I"m just having too much fun at my job. Maybe cause it's a fashion company and there are too many girls (don't tell my girl Mike). Oh and the pay is great.

    If you're on the adsense/SEO discussion more frequently, you'll get all the info you'll need. As long as you're smart enough as to who you're going to learn from. You can make that judgement.

    If you are looking for Real SEO guys then you have to take preparation with a good budget. If you want to black or little gray hat services then well its difficult to distinguish between WSOs and PM senders. But I would recommend you (since you are looking for recommendation) to take decision depending on your website. If the site is built for an affiliate product type site and the budget is tight then I can recommend you at least 100 WSOs easily. But if you already spent a very good amount behind your business site then go for Real SEO guys who will ask at least 1K/month which in then end will be worth the return.

    Check the past post of your intended SEO provider and see how the OP respond to SEO issues, if he is knowledgeable you will know.

    If he has got a thread most don't though not a criteria then check for reviews.

    Engage him in a discussion and see how he intends ranking your site.

    The two Mikes on WF are expert on this field, Mike Friedman and Mike Anthony.

    I recommend before hire any company or person, first check their work portfolio, case studies, and testimonial. Tell to send you some sample report of their previous work. You can choose companies form freelance website, where rate and review their works.

    You must need to check company portfolio and recent work before start.
    Also check backlinks quality as well, ask them to send you a report file that they send to clients.

      No way I would be sending a "report file" to a non customer. Why? Exposse my links and customer links and Keywords to anyone that asks. Thats not happening.

        I would never send a real report to potential customers. However, there have been times I sent a sample report with dummy URLs in it because the customer just wanted to see the structure of the reports because they'd dealt with messy companies in the past.

    Hi..I think you should be very careful to use SEO service..Backlinks is someting very important in SEO.. If you wrong to choose seo service it will hurt your site's SEO..
