Hi Guys,

I have sent over 500+ clicks to 3 different offers using Bing past week. That too on Search Network only, not Content. All offers were Simple form submit with established conversion rates.

However Bing resulted in '0' conversions. Earlier too, whenever I tried Bing I never got ANY conversions to any of my offers. Is this just me or anyone else had the same issue with Bing?

I get plenty of conversions with Bing, to me it's like AdWords except the CPC and traffic volumes are lower.

You should probably have paused your campaigns way before you reached 500 clicks, if you don't see conversions much earlier it is probably never going to work.

Feel free to message me if you want some tips about what does work on there.

Thanks dropout. The 500 clicks were spread out over 3 different LPs for 3 different offers to make sure that the offers are not at fault. Besides that's my click data for just last week. Overall I have never ever converted with Bing.

Interesting. It really depends on your niche, I've typically seen much higher conversion rates with Bing. I guess you'll have to look at your individual landing page strategies and analytics data to determine where improvements can be made.

Also, it would be worthwhile to run similar activity on AdWords to detemine whether the traffic you're targeting simply isn't qualified or if it's a limited data sample.

I have over a span of time tried multiple verticals including bizopp and gaming, predominantly leadgen. I agree targeting and LPs will have a great effect on conversions. Keeping this in mind, I always place campaigns on Bing which have proven CR% tested on other platforms like Adwords or CPA network estimates. I always send at least 100 clicks before pausing the campaign.

Like yesterday I sent 300+ clicks to a Gaming offer, free sign up for a very very relevant keyword. 0 conversions! Although possible, I think it should have got at least 1 conversion!

Another example, I run a SEO campaign on Adwords, it has a decent CR%, 4-5%. On Bing its zero!

I posted this on another thread somewhere.. 2-3 days back they sent over 300 clicks to my LP through their content network. None of the clicks were registered by my analytics set up. The site wasn't down as traffic from other sources showed up during the same time.

I think they might be targeting me :p

Kidding. The reason for me starting this thread is to gather consensus if its working for you guys so that I may drill down deeper before trashing it for good.

Bing does work. We run payday offers and we use Bing to generate incoming calls to our call center.

That your website did not convert traffic into sign-ups and sales does not mean there is something wrong with Bing. Traffic is traffic but bounce rate is something else entirely different. Try redesigning your pages a bit better because at present, even Google AdWords might not help you that much.

Yeah, that is a true fact for any marketing campaign. But this same pages converted with other traffic!

Anyways, the gist that I am getting here is that you guys are happy with Bing. Its just messing with me. So, its time to dig deeper with a sparkling brand new campaign. This time I will make sure I track the everything.

It is good for you to create this thread because I also wondering how good is Bing compares to Google when it comes to internet marketing.

  • hey vipul

sorry i am not agreed to you mate ..

every ppc network requires best practice to go for ..

if you know how to handle it properly than you can rock in ppc market ..

i will ask you one question

have you enabled bing yahoo and related partner searches also ?

if yes than it's waste of money .. just run your money in bing and yahoo only not related search engine ..

and many more thing you need to look after like keyword research, landing page optimization and many other factor ..

bing works better in my case in compare to google adwords .. so do some more optimization and you will rock

    best of luck friend

Thanks Dhawal for that info. And yes, Search Networks were included. Let me try the other way as you suggested to see if it makes any difference.
