Has the U.S. Shutdown Affected your Adsense Earnings?

Did your Adsense earnings go down with the US shutdown especially if you have majority of traffic from U.S. My Earning are down. Are people clicking less on ads and are advertisers paying less?

Strange enough they are down about 15%

Does that mean our hard working government employees aren't doing much on the job?

Well. It's a bit hard to tell since I've only recently started using adsense again on a few of my sites. So far I've made $13.00 in 2 months. I'm hoping that those earnings will increase.

Though I'm not to worried on the adsense earnings climbing quickly as it's not my main source of income and is just pocket money for now. My main source is my web hosting business which is in fact doing pretty well.

Nope i dont think so, untill google decide to pay less, But google will take decision soon so it might be affected in the future.

I had the same thought. I still have the same amount of traffic, but I am making less. It is funny that my earning was ok on Monday, then on Tuesday till today, it has been less.

Same here, earning was ok on Monday then the RPM hasn't recovered since Tuesday that's why I asked.

They sent me stimulus plan money to offset the shutdown.

The only thing I had to do is walk up & down the street with a picket sign.
