I have been doing PPC campaigns for 5 years so although I am not in anyway a GURU, I can help newbie with their questions.

But first here is 2 little gems.

1 - This advise is for High prices products...

Lets say you are advertising a product. And you want to get a potential client phone number to talk to him and sell him a appointment. Never put the price of the product on your landing page.

Last year I was making such a landing page for a group of retailers. The first day the landing page had 1 conversion at 200 $. This is unacceptable and normally I could have kicked the landing page all together but I decided to look more into it and I found out that i was giving the price of the product to the potential customers. WORST thing you can do is give them all the info they need without having to talk to you. Because then why would they contact you ? (this is for high end products with a HIGH price level)

SO I changed the price for a rebate and the cost per lead dropped to 9 $ / lead. Not bad for a product that is worth 20 k. 9 $/lead is not bad at all...

Conclusion : excite your potential customers for high end product don't give so much information that they have not reason to contact you.

2 - Always have your form over the fold. This means that tou want to let the potential client know exactly what you are expecting from him right from the start and he doesn't have to look for how to reach you.
