Comments to Hello World

So I got an email telling me I had comments to attend to. When I looked at the domain, I could not recognize it. Come t find out, I had set up this blog, God knows how long ago and forgot about it.

So the only thing on this blog is 'Hello World', and FIVE shmucks came to spam it with their comments.

Thank God it was only five, and not a hundred pages like I have got in the past on another one of my blogs. I usually turn off comments so I don't have deal with this tpe of thing, but somehow they still manage to spam me.

Oh well, a quick bulk delete has solved this one.:p:p

    Open the theme template in a text editor & remove the comment form/section from the theme. Done.

    Not really sure of the reason for your post (or, I guess, the reason for me bothering to reply...). No big or unusual issue. You have your blog set to accept comments. So some spammers find your blog and comment. Like you yourself said, set the blog such that comments are closed. End of problem.
