Lost all Google rankings for local pages

Hello Guys,

I have a client in which I provide local SEO for.

She was ranking on the first page for the following keywords:

Boca Raton Immigration Attorney
Deerfield Beach Immigration Attorney
Florida Immigration Attorney

and plenty of more local keywords. I just checked the site this week, she lost ALL and I mean ALL rankings for all keywords.


What is it that I did wrong?

P.S.
Recently I have hired a guy to help me with the off-site SEO from oDesk. Since he started working on it (just about a month ago) I've been noticing the decrease but I do not know if it has anything to do with it.

Meanwhile I stopped his contract.

    How about you stop sharing the URL of your clients in a Public forum? You're not only jeopardizing their business but also kicking yourself on the foot. I'm sure a few SEO's from india are already thinking about making an offer to your client. They'd blame you for the drop in ranking of course.

    Look at your anchor text:

    "immigration" is in every single keyword anchor..

    You were just asking to get penalized.

    Filter that down with less anchor text.. But you've done the damage already.

    May be your odesk guy was following some Black-hat SEO. don't you check his work? Don't you see his sample links before offer him the job? this is the mistake many service buyers do in site like oDesk and Freelancer. It is must to put some extra time on finding the perfect person to work with, otherwise you may end up something like this...

      I cannot imagine why a legit attorney needs SEO....
      just saying...unless of course, they are not a legit
      attorney in Boca....

      Losing rankings for local is kind of strange. Did the
      building get blown up and now is off the map?

      IM, SEO, and local really should be separated. One of my
      biggest beefs.

    First problem, you hired a guy from oDesk. They all provide shitty quality for the most part. If you don't know how to do SEO, don't do it.

    Why wouldn't any lawyer want to have local SEO done? Do you think if your a lawyer people just walk into your door? haha Doing work for Lawyers is a huge market place.

    You are so deep in the business that you don't even know that penguin 2.1 rolled out few days ago. To make things even more better you outsourced the work to random people on oDesk. A SEO wonna be + oDesk outsourcing , what possibly could go wrong? :rolleyes:

    There is lots SEO company, did not read search engine rules or anything and said there is a update like panda, penguin, Injen, piranha whatever and so on.

    This update from Google, I mean this is specific separate rules from search engine to find the best and worth quality website.

    I know this updates are always updating by the algorithm and every time google hit website who are going unethical process to build backlinks. Only backlinks is not the way to get the 1st page. And oDesk people, they are not professional. To build a website in search engine, you should study over your clients site and some social sharing with high traffic website content building.

    You lost ranking because of you hire ordinary person from oDesk may be.
