Not sure why my site is not getting approved by Adsense. All content is original and the design is unique. Has about us page, contact us page, sitemap and privacy policy. It has over 100 posts. Any suggestions on why my site is not approved?

    What is the site about?

Roughly how many words are there in each post?

Each article has about 300 - 600 words and an image from Creative Commons. It is on entertainment.

Was the site previously banned? ... Do you have a privacy policy, contact page, etc? Does it look legit. Unique theme, etc? Is the content readable.. Did you sign up with a new account..

    Lots of factors here.

No, the site never had Adsense on it. I bought the domain from the registrar and it is more than a year old. The theme is uniquely designed and has about us page, contact us page, TOS, privacy policy and sitemap. It also has social media integrated. The content is readable and Copyscaped passed. The Adsense account is also new.

Lol, that actually says something about the quality of the content.

Just because it is readable and Copyscape passed it does not mean the content is acceptable, your site could have been manually checked and deemed not illegible for the advertising network.

Trust me, the authors who produce the content are excellent writers. This is coming from someone who sells articles on Constant Content.

Google factors in: design, age, authority, and trust. If you're missing in any 4 of those, build it up over time then reapply.

Adsense can be a real pain but it can be worth the pay off. Good luck.

Probably your domain had been in use before you bought it and was rejected by Adsense then, you'd better ask Google about the reason, here we can only guess...

None of that whatsoever has anything to do with getting adsense approval.

My hunch is ridiculous content that has no business being online, or content
    violates google webmaster guidelines.

    Kindly check these factors:

    1. Copied images from Google image search.
    2. Too much of Advertising network already on your site.
    3. Well Aged domain.
    4. Content quality.
5 Age verification of the register user must be above 18 years.
    6. Valid address details.
    7. Traffic of your website must be quite high.
