How quickly can I add a backlink after buying a domain with PR

Hi All,

I have purchased some domains with PR last week and added some content, how quickly can I add a backlink to my money site? What has been people's experiences with this?

    You should start building backlinks as quickly as possible. Can you tell me what logic stopped you from building backlinks immediately?

    1) Add Good Content and make sure it helps your visitors.
    2) Promote your site in social media platforms and try to get visitors from there.
    3) Wait for 15 days and find out how many visitors you received.
    4) Check out your competitors and find their average quality backlinks ( Unique Domains )
    5) If you receive 10-20 visitors a day. Try to take an average of 15 days and make same number of back links every day and keep your link velocity same.

    There have been stories around that when you had a new domain that you had to wait for the new content to be indexed and then place a link to your site.

    No idea where that came from though.

      I feel sarcasm but not sure.

      Indexing has no correlation to IBL. My site could be viral with a bunch of links long before its ever indexed.

        Not really sarcastic but it's something that comes back quite a few times and often people reply that you have to wait first, which makes no sense of course.

        It was just to confirm that I understand why the OP asks for it, so much wrong information on these forums.

    No idea to wait but at start, it'll be a good idea to do link building at slow pace and content building a bit faster. Once traffic starts increasing you can go with a faster rate .

    These are expired domains bought to be a part of my blog network for seo purposes. From the time of purchasing the domains and adding content, how quickly can I add backlinks FROM those domains to my money site.

      We are still saying the same thing.

      Start as soon as the network is complete. You don't have to wait for anything.

    I don't think you should wait... Of course you can do 301 redirect if you want to make it go to your money site... But if you just wait to work on the new site, there is no difference if you or another person work on it, so you could start immediately!

    You should begin backlinking immediately. Make sure that you link to good quality sites that are not blacklisted as this can damage your rankings. Manually cultured quality backlinks are best. Thousands of ~#/*! links that have been blasted automatically will only discredit your site and will help to get it blacklisted. I do hope that you have already started your backlinking campaign in such a way that you are not, 'Blacklinking'! Excuse the pun.

    Add the links at the time you publish the content.

    In my mind, almost all links in editorial content are present as soon as the article is published and the very first time it is spidered and indexed.

    If Google indexes the content on your expired domain and then returns later to find a link has been added - my own personal feeling is that this looks a lot more unnatural than if the link was there from the very beginning.

    So by delaying, you might actually be putting your site at more risk.

    Just do it now. First when you post good content the next step you should be taking is to build the links, the more you build quick natural links to your site, it's good. but remember build the quality links only.
